Largo Foundation for the Arts was established in 2006 by Gino Ste-Marie, with a strong mandate to encourage and promote jazz music and visual arts in Quebec City. The Foundation wishes to develop and promote various projects and artistic events in both areas, stimulate exchanges between artists from here and abroad on the provincial, national or international level, and also encourage organization of master classes, competitions or scholarships. The Foundation wishes by these actions to stimulate and enrich the cultural life of Quebec City.
